What members get
- A free first technical review call. One hour with our Technical Director on a problem you are working on — confirmed in a short written engagement letter so everyone is clear on what it is and is not. The call is general guidance only: we take no responsibility for decisions made on the strength of it without a signed scope of work.
- Technical and compliance briefings. Short, practical notes on regulation changes, audit trends and engineering issues, by email a few times a year.
- Peer referrals. When you need a specialist — a surveyor, a service engineer, a yard contact — we will share who we trust, with no commission either way.
- Crew registration. If you are looking for your next role, register with us. We never charge seafarers fees.
Introductions and referrals
If you think we could help an owner you work for, we would be glad of the introduction.
In line with our no-commissions pledge, we do not pay referral fees to captains or crew. Your recommendation should stand on its merits, and owners should be able to trust it. What we do promise is to look after the yacht and its crew in a way that makes you glad you made the introduction.
We will never approach the owner, management company or suppliers of a yacht on the strength of a crew conversation without the captain’s agreement.
