Moving a yacht from one manager to another is mostly paperwork, data and timing. Done badly, it leaves gaps in certification, maintenance history and crew records. Our switching package plans and runs the handover — at no charge when you appoint us.
How it works
Five steps, one plan.
Confidential review
We review your current management arrangements, notice periods and the yacht’s certificate status. (We are not lawyers; we will tell you when you need one.)
Handover plan
A written timeline that avoids certificate gaps, planned around surveys, yard periods and the season.
Records transfer
We work with the outgoing manager to transfer certificates, safety management records, maintenance data, crew files and supplier accounts.
Notifications
We co-ordinate notifications to flag, class, insurers and key suppliers, and update contacts and approvals.
First 90 days
A technical review in the first 90 days, so that both you and we know exactly where the yacht stands.

Conditions
- Available when you appoint us under a 12-month management agreement on any of our tiers
- For yachts under 500 GT and of 500 GT and over, charter and private
- Third-party costs (flag, class, travel) are passed through at cost
- Where we take over the safety management system, we review it and agree the changeover date with the master
